Now through June 26, 2021 Photographer Cindy Shebley's Playful Puppies series will be on display at the ShoreLakes Art Gallery in Shoreline Washington.

The series features two young dogs in various poses with local Everett WA landmarks or curiosities. Taken mostly during the time of Covid lockdown - the places were found during the allowed daily dog walks. The dogs were later posed in studio to fit the scene (or vise versa) and photoshopped into the scene. Creating fun images of the dogs doing unusual things.

You can visit the Gallery in person at: 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park, WA 98155.
The Gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday.

Headline: Cindy Shebley IN STATE WIDE ART COMPETITION

Pacific Northwest artist Cindy Shebley, Everett, Washington, has been chosen for inclusion in the 2021 CVG Show in Bremerton’s Collective Visions Gallery.

The annual CVG Show is one of the largest and most prestigious art competitions in the Northwest.
Two hundred and ninety five artists from cities and towns throughout Washington State submitted 550 images for consideration. The competition’s juror, Michael D’Alessandro chose about 130 pieces from these submissions for inclusion in the show. The juror will award over $6700 in cash prizes to 10 artists in multiple categories, including the “Best of Show Mayor’s Award” of $1500. Additionally, there will be over $2200 in purchase awards by area businesses, a $300 People’s Choice Award sponsored by the West Sound Arts Council, and a $1,000 Best of Kitsap Award sponsored by the Cultural Arts Foundation Northwest.

Photographer Cindy Shebley's “Bubble Cannon” from the annual Bubble Run was included in this years Photoplace Gallery International Juried Show called “Finding Joy“. Juror Amy Homes George has chosen 30 photographs for exhibition in Photoplaces' Middlebury, Vermont gallery.
